The National Bank of Bahrain took part in a large-scale tree-planting campaign in Zallaq and Zayed Town as part of activities marking World Environment Day, which is observed globally on June 5 every year.
The drive was conducted under the ‘Forever Green’ campaign launched by the National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD) in co-operation with the Works, Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture and Housing and Urban Planning ministries as well as the Supreme Council for Environment (SCE) .
