SUPREME Council for Youth and Sport first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa received Bahrain Paralympic Committee (BPC) president Shaikh Mohammed bin Duaij Al Khalifa yesterday.
Shaikh Khalid commended BPC’s efforts in supporting athletes with determination and underscored the kingdom’s continued commitment, led by His Majesty King Hamad and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Shaikh Khalid commended the committee’s regional and international achievements, highlighting the progress of Para sport in the kingdom, and expressed appreciation for the role of Shaikh Mohammed and the board of directors in advancing the sector locally and internationally.
Shaikh Mohammed thanked Shaikh Khalid for his ongoing support, noting that the guidance received serves as a strong incentive to further develop Para sport in Bahrain.
