BASKETBALL – UNDERSCORING its commitment to social responsibility and advancement of sports, BBK, a leading retail and corporate bank in the kingdom, has signed a sponsorship agreement with the Bahrain Basketball Association (BBA).
The agreement was signed during a meeting between BBK and BBA representatives.
BBK’s Group Chief Executive Yaser Alsharifi stated: “We are proud to sponsor Bahrain Basketball Association’s events, tournaments, and programmes. This initiative reflects our firm belief in the transformative power of sports as a catalyst for personal growth.”
The pact will help individuals and will act as a “meaningful contributor to societal development,” he added.

Alaa Mudara, president of the BBA, expressed gratitude to BBK for its valued support.

It will help enhance the kingdom’s presence in regional and international competitions, reinforcing the global visibility of Bahraini talent, Mudara noted.
