More than 38,000 live cattle, including sheep and camels, have been imported in preparation for the holy month of Ramadan, a Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Ministry official revealed.
An additional 12,000 heads of cattle are expected to arrive in the coming days, Under-Secretary for agriculture and marine resources Asem Abdullatif Abdullah said yesterday .
