His Majesty King Hamad ratified and issued a law on the ratification of the agreement between the government of Bahrain and the government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China concerning the elimination of double taxation on income taxes and the prevention of tax evasion and avoidance.
The law was passed by the Shura Council and Parliament.
The agreement, signed in Manama on March 3, 2024, and attached to this law, is hereby ratified.
The Prime Minister and ministers, each within their capacities, shall implement the provisions of this law, which shall come into effect on the day following its publication in the Official Gazette.
