His Majesty King Hamad’s Personal Representative and Supreme Council for Environment chairman Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa has highlighted the Interior Ministry’s professional and intensive efforts in protecting the environment.
He also underscored the vital role of the ministry in safeguarding national security and stability as well as supporting the kingdom’s development during a meeting with Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa yesterday.
Present at the meeting was Public Security deputy chief Major General Dr Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa.
Shaikh Abdulla noted the support it receives from His Majesty and the close follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Gen Shaikh Rashid reiterated the ministry’s commitment to adopting best practices and modern strategies to enhance performance and safeguard national achievements.
He affirmed the importance of environmental protection as a national responsibility and highlighted the ministry’s co-operation with the Supreme Council for the Environment to support its objectives.
