The Mena region is projected to attract over $1 trillion in renewable energy investments by 2030, creating new industries, jobs, and opportunities for collaboration, according to Mark Thomas, group chief executive of Bapco Energies.
During his keynote address titled ‘Mena’s Driving Role in Global Climate Action and Energy Resilience’ at the third edition of Sustainability Forum Middle East, Mr Thomas emphasised the need for global co-operation in the energy transition .
