MOTORSPORT – BAHRAINI rally driver Hasan Al Sadadi has arrived in the city of Bisha, south-west of Saudi Arabia, in preparation for the Dakar Rally 2025.
As the race approaches, Al Sadadi and his team are in high spirits and focused on preparing their challenger to achieve a distinguished performance in this prestigious race, which gets underway on Friday.
Al Sadadi extended his sincere thanks to all who have supported him in his journey to the Dakar Rally, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, whose continuous backing for Bahrain’s motorsport community is an inspiration and which always pushes him to give his very best in every endeavour.
Al Sadadi also expressed his gratitude to Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), Beyon Group, and Bell Helmets for their trust and for helping him embark on this tremendous adventure.
Al Sadadi stated: “I am extremely pleased to be participating in the Dakar Rally 2025, which is one of the largest sporting events in the world.
“We are now working hard to prepare the car for this event, which represents a big dream for me, as I will be able to raise the flag of the Kingdom of Bahrain high.”
Al Sadadi’s participation comes as part of Bahrain’s strategy to enhance its standing in world sport and confirm its commitment to supporting Bahraini athletes. This also contributes to enhancing Bahrain’s presence in international sports forums, supporting national talents, and enhancing their ability to compete at the highest levels.

His participation reflects the nation’s ability to develop sportsmen and women capable of competing at all levels, and confirms the importance of sport as a means of cultural and economic communication between peoples.
Al Sadadi’s participation is supported by national institutions that believe in the importance of backing Bahraini sports and athletes. Among these is BIC, which continues its efforts to support motorsports by providing the necessary infrastructure, training, and resources. The Dakar Rally 2025 extends over 8,000 kilometres and it includes various stages that combine speed and navigation over harsh terrains, requiring great mental and physical endurance, in addition to advanced driving skills. The race is a platform to test a driver’s ability to adapt to various challenges imposed by the environment, as well as highlighting the technical innovations used in the participating vehicles.
Al Sadadi will be racing in the side-by-side vehicle (SSV) T4 class in his #444 BRP Can-Am Maverick XRS Turbo RR. He will be competing with his team R-X Sport and will be in the driver’s seat alongside his navigator Marcin Pasek of Poland.
The Dakar Rally was held for the first time in 1979, and it has turned into a major international event that attracts the best rally drivers from around the world. Participants compete in various categories, including cars, bikes, challengers, SSVs, trucks, M1000s, and classics.
