His Majesty King Hamad yesterday visited the family of the late Dr Mohammed bin Jaber Al Ansari, who was his adviser for cultural and scientific affairs.
The King extended his condolences over Dr Al Ansari’s death, praying to Allah the Almighty to grant him mercy and peace, and to provide his family and loved ones with patience and solace.
He commended Dr Al Ansari’s seven-decade journey of intellectual, cultural and literary contributions.
His Majesty also highlighted Dr Al Ansari’s dedication to serving the kingdom, and his significant efforts to promote Arab culture.
The King recognised Dr Al Ansari’s distinguished contributions and reputation as a prominent writer and thinker, underscoring his status as one of the leading Arab intellectuals.
He expressed Bahrain’s pride in Dr Al Ansari, describing him as one of the kingdom’s loyal and devoted figures who contributed significantly to Bahrain’s progress and defended the country’s causes through his writings.
The King recalled Dr Al Ansari’s contributions to Bahrain’s development, and his efforts to strengthen democratic values.
Dr Al Ansari’s family expressed their gratitude to the King for his condolences and support, wishing the kingdom further progress and prosperity.
