An American company, Geophysical Technology, will conduct an offshore seismic survey in the northern and southern areas of Bahrain.
These operations are scheduled to take place from January 2025 until the end of January 2027 as part of Bapco Energies’ initiatives and the implementation of the exploration strategy for oil and gas, the company said in a statement yesterday.
The operations will be directly supervised by Bapco Upstream.
“We urge all vessels operating in the survey areas to exercise caution during this period and to provide space for the survey vessels to conduct their work safely.
Additionally, we advise all fishermen and sea-goers to remain vigilant near the survey vessels to ensure everyone’s safety and to prevent any accidents,” it added.
