The Meteorological Directorate at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications has announced that the new year will begin with a cold wave, as forecasts indicate that a high-pressure system will bring northwesterly winds accompanied by a cold air mass starting from the evening of next Tuesday.
The directorate noted that wind speeds will gradually increase, becoming strong on the first day of the new year .
