A rich programme of diverse entertaining activities has been lined up for December to celebrate Bahrain National Day, in commemoration of the establishment of the modern Bahraini State as an Arab and Muslim state founded by Ahmed Al Fateh in 1783, and the anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad’s accession to the throne. Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority (BTEA) chief executive Sarah Buhejji yesterday commended the pivotal role of the private sector in supporting the kingdom’s festivities through strategic partnerships and individual initiatives .
