Samson Dauda has won the 2024 Mr Olympia bodybuilding title, winning the largest prize in the sport’s history.
The competition took place at Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas and was the main event of the 2024 Olympia weekend.
Fifteen athletes competed, after advancing from the pre-judging stage and entered the main stage for the head judge.
The competition concluded with Samson Dauda announced as the winner. Hadi Choopan was the runner-up and last year’s winner, Derek Lunsford, dropped to third.
Samson, born in Nigeria and currently based in the UK, won the people’s championship and a total prize of $600,000, the biggest prize ever awarded in a bodybuilding competition.
