TENNIS – REGISTRATION is now open for the September women’s training programme at the Bahrain Tennis Federation (BTF).
This was announced yesterday by BTF women’s committee head Jameela Al Nashaba.
The training course is a continuation of the committee’s plan to attract young women in the kingdom to participate in women’s activities at the BTF and teach them the basics of tennis.
Al Nashaba explained that the programme will begin on Sunday next week, with the aim of developing participants’ playing techniques at various levels. She noted that the training will be held at the BTF courts under the supervision of coach Mahmoud Saeed, who has more than 25 years’ experience in teaching tennis.
Saeed will be assisted by a number of qualified coaches over two sessions a week, held from 8pm to 9pm, either on Sundays and Tuesdays or Mondays and Wednesdays.
The fee to take part is BD25, and the programme is open to both Bahrainis and expatriates.
Those wishing to participate can fill out the electronic form available on the BTF’s Instagram account @btf_tennis. The last date to register is tomorrow.
For any inquiries, contact the BTF on telephone 17687236.
