The National Center for Meteorology forecasts moderate to heavy thunderstorms leading to flash floods, hail and strong winds, and limited visibility in the Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions.
Thunderclouds may form in the southern parts of the Riyadh, Eastern, Najran, Madinah and Hail regions.
Dust-stirring winds that reduce visibility to almost zero continue in the eastern and coastal parts of Madinah, Makkah, Aseer and Jazan regions. Fog may form in the late hours of the night and early hours of the morning on the highlands of Jazan, Aseer and Al-Baha. Temperatures will be very high in the Riyadh, Qassim and Madinah regions.
Winds over the Red Sea are expected to be westerly to northwesterly, reaching 20-40 km/h, in the northern and central parts, and 25-50 km/h in the southern part.
Waves could reach from one meter and a half to two and a half meters in the northern and central parts, and from a meter and a half to three meters in the south. The sea will be choppy.
In the Arabian Gulf, the wind will be southeasterly to northeasterly, reaching speeds of 15-35 km/h. Waves may range from half a meter to a meter and a half; the sea will be relatively calm.
