A brand new floating dock will be installed at the Bahrain Ship Repairing and Engineering Company (Basrec) facilities this year, the company’s chairman Fawzi Ahmed Kanoo has said.
Speaking on the sidelines of the company’s annual and extraordinary general meetings (AGM) at the Gulf Hotel Bahrain Residence and Spa yesterday, Mr Kanoo told the GDN that the contract has been nearly finalised and the dry-dock is expected to be operational by the end of the year .
