Prices of tents have skyrocketed following a rebound in the camping equipment market after the commencement of the camping season this year after a long lapse caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Dealers said the market had run out of tents and camping equipment after the announcement of the camping season. Companies buying tents to take part in Mara’ee 2023 added to the shortage, a trader said pointing to the high demand from families and youth.
Normal tents are now available for prices ranging from BD80 to BD700 while corporate ones exceeded BD10,000, according to a report in our Arabic sister paper Akhbar Al Khaleej.
