As Saudi Arabia’s National Day approaches on Saturday, an array of exhilarating events are planned to mark the occasion this side of the causeway too, courtesy of Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority.
Seef Mall-Muharraq will be staging a Saudi traditional Ardah dance event, tomorrow at 8pm-9pm and Seef Mall-Manama in Seef District will host the show from 8.30pm-9.30pm.
Moda Mall has organised a spirited three-day celebration, which showcases Arabic hospitality and giveaways, from 10am to 10pm today, tomorrow and Saturday and The Avenues will feature similar activities tomorrow and on Saturday.
An enchanting musical journey featuring an alluring jazz evening with Banah, in association with BNP Paribas Bahrain Jazz Fest, will take place at the Al Liwan, Hamala, on both Friday and Saturday.
There will also be a Dhow Show and a traditional music band with Ismael Dawes at Bahrain Bay starting at 7.30 pm tonight.
Traditional Ardah performances and Arabic hospitality will commence at the Suq Al Baraha as well as Seef Mall in Seef District to celebrate the national holiday on Friday and Saturday.
Starting from 5pm onwards this evening, an array of family activities, including Arabic hospitality, Chinese calligraphy, children’s crafts, and even a special appearance by DC mascot DiDi, will take place in the Centre Court at Dragon City. The celebrations continue on Friday and Saturday.
Saudi Arabia, home to two of Islam’s holiest cities, Mecca and Medina, celebrates September 23 every year as it commemorates the establishment of the kingdom in 1932.
