Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani yesterday led the Bahrain delegation to the opening session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 78), in New York.
The session was held under the theme ‘Rebuilding trust and reigniting global solidarity: Accelerating action on the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals towards peace, prosperity, progress and sustainability for all’, chaired by current session President Dennis Francis, and with the participation of UN Secretary-General António Guterres .
