American Caver Mark Dickey, who spent over a week trapped in Turkiye’s third-deepest cave, was finally rescued on Tuesday (September 12).
The rescue took nine days and involved more than 150 crew from Turkiye, Croatia and other nations.
He was taken out of the Morca cave in the Taurus mountains suspended on a stretcher by a rope.
As a crowd applauded, he flashed a weak smile, and was taken into an emergency tent.
