A rare Saudi falcon has been sold for a record half a million Saudi riyals. The auction was held at the Saudi Falcon Club headquarters in Mulham, north of Riyadh yesterday. The previous record was held by a local falcon that was sold for 270,000 riyals. Two more Saudi falcons were sold yesterday for a total of 570,000 riyals, taking the total sales to more than a million Saudi riyals.
