THE Northern Governorate could become the first-ever fully healthy governorate in Bahrain, the region, and the Middle East – after a request was officially sent to the World Health Organisation’s (WHO) regional office in Manama.
The request was signed by Northern Governor Ali Al Asfoor in the presence of Healthy City programme co-ordinator Hawra Alshoula following directives issued by Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa .
