KHALIFA Jamal, of the Al Fursan Endurance Team, clinched first place in the Šamorín International Endurance Championship, held in Slovakia, with wide participation from international riders.
Jamal raced to victory in the 122km race amid strong competition, as he outperformed Iraqi rider Laila Obaid, who finished second. The Al Fursan rider was outstanding throughout the four stages of the race, while his teammate Khaled Yousif finished fourth.
The Al Fursan Endurance Team, led by Shaikha Noora bint Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, recorded a remarkable achievement for Bahraini endurance sport, cementing the kingdom’s high position in European competitions.
