A traffic accident, involving a two-wheeler, which claimed the lives of two teenagers led to widespread rioting in Cardiff, Wales after rumours spread that a police chase was the cause of the crash.
Around a dozen police officers were reportedly injured in the ensuing riot which saw multiple vehicles being set on fire and the use of rockets and fireworks against the police force.
According to the South Wales Police Force, two teenagers died during a traffic accident on May 22 after which police arrived at the scene.
They are currently investigating the cause of the crash and the riot that followed.
The police also said that multiple arrests had already been made in connection with the riot and that more were to follow.
