A viral video circulating on social media shows a man defending himself in a street fight in Toronto, Canada, using his pet python as his weapon.
The street fight happened at 11.50pm in the Dundas Street West and Manning Avenue area. The video shows the man aggressively swinging the python at his opponent while the victim stumbles and struggles to get away from him.
Moments later, the police arrive and the man immediately drops the snake in the middle of the street, raises his hands up in submission and lays flat on the ground while the police investigate the matter.

In a statement released earlier this week, the police stated that they received a call about a man using a python snake to threaten people, "There was a physical altercation and the man used the python to attack the victim."
The 45-year-old man, Laurenio Avila, was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon and animal abuse.
