Aamal, one of the region’s leading diversified companies, has announced that its fully-owned subsidiary, Aamal Readymix, has been awarded a QR40 million ($11 million) contract by the Porr-HBk-Midmac consortium for the Wakra and Wukair drainage tunnel project in Qatar.
As per the deal, Aamal Readymix will supply ready-mixed concrete products within a 18-month period starting from next month.
On the contract win, CEO Rashid Bin Ali Al Mansoori said: "It is a pleasure to see Aamal Readymix awarded such an important contract, one that demonstrates the ability of Aamal and its subsidiaries to meet increasing market demands, particularly in the industrial manufacturing sector."
