Sisters donate hair for cancer patients
This is really heart-warming.
@ajthephantomthief
Hair will never bring joy to cancer patients. I don’t know how this even came up. It’s the care and life they need really. If you ever had any idea what a terminal cancer is? You would know how much the hair means, if anything at all. Please people don’t clean your guilty conscience with donations. Donations don’t go to their destinations.

I’m sure nothing can replace a healthy life but a lot of times there are children who feel different and weird because they look different from their peers due to the treatment. Hair might not give them a new lease on life but it does make them feel like they fit in and puts a smile on their face even if it’s temporary. Everything from stick on eyebrows to wigs go a long way in making those small moments count for them. When they are already going through physical pain that we cannot take away, least I can do is help them elevate the sensation of standing out or feeling they look odd. There are also survivors of cancer who prefer wearing a wig or a even a bra after battling breast cancer and coming out the other side. It’s a way of making yourself feel normal again, nothing wrong with that.

Shallow.
@svetlana.bg.bh
If you say so. Some people take the little joys they can get, some keep looking for deeper and let life go by ... it’s a matter of perspective.
@bollywoodmudra
Also, when you already have what others long for you will always think it’s shallow... try shaving your head sometime, or your eyebrows ... it will give you a true perspective of shallow. Even with choice it’s not easy for anyone, shallow or not. Also live and let live. Let others make their choice. You have the freedom to make yours so why shouldn’t others?
@bollywoodmudra
If you have ever known what a terminal illness means you will know what really matters in this life. So don’t bring me down to a hair loss please. Honestly! Get the real meaning of life. There are many more things to enjoy than the external look. And children should be taught. Some people enjoy even being able to breathe. All this hair thing became a cliche and a bravado for some people. Then next day women cutting their hairs and throwing in the streets in suport for Iranian women … don’t tell me more. It’s all show-off. Do as you please but don’t show it off.
