KUWAIT- Kuwait’s Minister of Public Works Dr. Amani Bougammaz took to the parliament podium on Tuesday and was questioned over alleged irregularities and mismanagement in her department.
Bougammaz, also the Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, fielded questions by MP Hamdan Al-Azmi, who had filed the grilling motion over a host of issues and charges against the executive, including her alleged engagement in areas of conflicting interests.
She is also accused of mismanagement of public funds and breaching the principle of cooperation between the legislative and executive authorities.
