The Norwegian night was turned into day for a moment when a meteor fireball lit up the night sky.
Several concerned Norwegians called the police after the meteor burned up over Norway, with the fireball being seen for miles around.
The Norwegian Meteorological Institute said the meteor belonged to an annual shower called the Northern Taurids.
The meteor or bolide burnt up in the atmosphere about 65km above sea level over Norway.
