LONDON is bracing itself for a new twist to the museum sector with the opening of a new venue in one of the world’s most famous high streets.
Twist Museum launches in Oxford Street on November 16. The trailblazing concept marries immersive multi-sensory attractions with escapism, education and technology in a new purpose-built space.
Twist is described as ‘a trip down the rabbit hole into the world of illusions’. Not just experiencing the strange and unknown, but understanding it. How do illusions work? When all your senses are deceived, what happens to the brain? And, how do these stimuli shape your sense of reality?
“Twist was founded to examine the science behind such questions through fun, interactive exhibits for all the family,” a spokesman for the creators said.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming guests from Bahrain and the rest of the Gulf region.”
Inside there will be more than 60 exhibits from some of illusions’ most celebrated names.
