Bahrain’s biggest Indian wedding since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic ended on a high note last night as approximately 500 guests, including 150 from overseas, celebrated the union of an international cricketer and the great granddaughter of a former Indian Prime Minister. David Mathias and Kalyani Desai got married at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Arabia in Awali, followed by a reception for family and friends at the Gulf Hotel, Convention and Spa .
