MANAMA: Alba, the world’s largest aluminium smelter ex-China, set new records in safety yesterday as it surpassed 25 million safe working-hours without lost time injury (LTI) for the first time in the history of its commercial operations.
This milestone came alongside exceeding 25m metric tonnes in overall production since the company began operations in 1971 .
