Kuwait has announced that members of teaching staff and the families will now be covered by a KD10,000 health insurance policy, in recognition of their efforts and role of teachers in the society.
This was revealed by the country's Teachers' Association head Hamad Al-Houli, local media reported, adding that the appropriate authorities have given their approval for the insurance, which would cover instructors, their spouses and their children.
