Abu Dhabi: An Iraqi actress living in the United Arab Emirates could face legal action for discrediting the people of Saudi Arabia.
High-level Emirati officials are investigating the case of Mariam Hussein who reportedly defamed the Saudi people and tribes.
She posted the picture of a Saudi girl on her Instagram account and accused her of sending her photos to her fiance, using defamatory words to discredit the Saudi people and tribes.
UAE sources said that the Emirati government and people do not tolerate that a citizen or resident discredits the Saudi people or tribes.
