MMA – Undefeated Georgian middleweight Tornike Gigauri has signed with BRAVE Combat Federation, making him the latest world-class talent to join the organisation’s international roster.
Currently holding a perfect professional mixed martial arts (MMA) record of seven wins and no losses, Gigauri is a regional MMA champion and is riding an impressive 10-fight winning streak across amateur and professional MMA, having finished all his opponents.
With six of his seven professional MMA wins coming via submission, Gigauri is a dangerous finisher who has only gone to the second round once in his entire MMA career.
Gigauri is also part of the next wave of Georgian MMA talent in BRAVE CF. While the likes of Ilia Topuria and Guram Kutateladze gained global recognition through BRAVE CF in the past, fighters such as Bidzina Gavashelishvili and Raul Tutarauli are currently active on the BRAVE CF roster. The organisation recently signed Lasha Abramishvili as well, underlining its commitment to giving Georgian talent a worldwide platform.
Gigauri’s entry into the BRAVE CF Middleweight division adds excitement as the division is set to crown a new champion when BRAVE CF returns to Slovenia in June.
Former double champion Mohammad Fakhreddine and current Light Heavyweight champion Erko Jun will battle for the vacant title in Slovenia. Gigauri joins the division at a crucial moment and will be looking to make a statement in his BRAVE CF debut.
