Cairo: Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates, held a telephone call with Gordan Grlić-Radman, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia. They discussed the importance of building on the momentum of Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković’s recent visit to Egypt. The visit witnessed the signing of agreements and MoUs to enhance cooperation in various economic, trade, and cultural domains.
According to the Middle East News Agency (MENA), both ministers welcomed the outcome of the Egyptian-Croatian Business Forum. The forum was inaugurated by the prime ministers of both countries with the participation of companies and financial institutions from both sides.
They discussed the importance of following up on the implementation of the visit’s outcomes. They also explored ways to advance cooperation, particularly in energy, construction, building, and transport. The aim is to maximise available opportunities and deepen the partnership between both countries.
The ministers exchanged views on the latest developments in the Middle East and Europe. They also discussed efforts to enhance security and stability in the region and addressed the situation in Gaza.
