A 104-year-old woman was taken to jail, fingerprinted and mugshot taken by the police in the state of New York to fulfil her birthday wish.
Loretta Chamberlain, a resident at the Avon Nursing Home, expressed her desire to be arrested when asked what she wanted on her 104th birthday.
Hearing this news, the Livingston County Sheriff's Office in Geneseo happily obliged. They escorted Loretta to their facility.
"Loretta had a great time touring our jail facility and we are so glad that we were able to make her birthday wishes come true!" the Sheriff's office said in a Facebook post.
The facility that operates Loretta's nursing home described some of the activities that she did during her stay in the "clink".
"Loretta enjoyed cake, getting fingerprinted, her mug shot taken, tour of the jail, getting locked in a cell, and got to meet many deputies, including one of their new K-9s!"
