ENDURANCE HORSERACING – The National Day Cup in Endurance got underway yesterday, with Shaikha Sheema bint Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa participating in the 100km international ride, representing Team Victorious.
The event was held at Bahrain International Endurance Village in Sakhir.
Shaikha Sheema’s participation was in line with the commitment of His Majesty King Hamad’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs and Supreme Council for Youth and Sport chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa to support and encourage his children in endurance racing.
Shaikh Nasser underscored his commitment to supporting and encouraging his children to achieve their aspirations and build their confidence.
Shaikh Nasser emphasised that they represent the foundation of Bahrain’s endurance racing future, highlighting the importance of providing them with support, attention, and encouragement.
Shaikh Nasser commended the efforts and ambitions of Shaikha Sheema for endurance sports.
Shaikh Nasser noted that Shaikha Sheema is progressing according to a gradual strategy, having participated in several local and international races in recent times, culminating in her participation in the 100km international race.
The National Day Cup in Endurance continues today with the main event, a 120km international ride, along with a 120km local ride and a 40km qualifying race.
