Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) has launched a pre-qualification process for developers interested in building a 1,200 megawatt (MW) power plant and a 30 million imperial gallons per day (MIGD) desalination plant in Sitra.
The project will be developed on a Build, Own, and Operate (BOO) basis .
