Riyadh- The General Directorate of Civil Defence has issued a warning about continued thunderstorms in several regions of Saudi Arabia. Beginning tomorrow, Monday, and lasting until Friday, various areas will experience varying levels of rainfall.
In Makkah region, residents can expect light to moderate rain, which may lead to flash floods, hail, and strong winds. The Riyadh region will see light rain in areas such as Afif, Al-Dawadmi, Al-Quwai'iyah, Al-Aflaj, Al-Sulayyil, and Wadi Al-Dawasir.
The regions of Al-Baha, Aseer, and Jazan are forecasted to receive moderate to heavy rain, while Hail, Al-Qassim, Al-Sharqiyah, Al-Madinah, and Najran will likely experience light to moderate rainfall.
To ensure safety during this period, the Civil Defence Directorate urges residents in affected areas to exercise caution and follow these guidelines: stay in safe locations, avoid areas prone to flooding, refrain from swimming in torrents or valleys, and adhere to instructions from official sources.
