Kuwait: Nora Al Fassam, Minister of Finance, Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment of Kuwait, met with Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary.
The meeting discussed means to enhance trade and business cooperation, KUNA reported.
Al Fassam said in a statement that the discussions touched on Kuwait's economic vision, and the high pace execution of mega-development projects, in coordination with strategic partners, while maintaining Kuwait’s financial sustainability. She noted that the latter's goal is attainable through economic and financial reforms.
The two sides emphasised the commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes from the upcoming fifth session of the Joint Commission for Economic and Technical Cooperation, set to take place in Budapest, Hungary, this October.
She added that both parties discussed the investment relationship between the two countries and underscored the commitment to explore potential opportunities in sectors of mutual interest. Hungarian companies were invited to expand their investments in the Kuwaiti economy and take advantage of the incentives offered to foreign investors.
