VOTING in by-elections in a key constituency in the Muharraq Governorate started yesterday with Bahrainis overseas eligible to cast their ballots exercising their franchise at the kingdom’s embassies and consulates.
Seven candidates, including two women, are in the race for a seat in Parliament from the governorate’s constituency one after a court revoked the parliamentary membership of Mohammed Al Hussaini in July for not disclosing that he held dual nationality at the time of contesting the November 2022 general elections .
