The Royal Opera House Muscat has announced its 2024/2025 season, offering a diverse line-up of over 50 performances from October 2024 to May 2025. The tickets for the season went on sale today (August 18) at 11 am.
The season will feature five operas, including Verdi's 'The Masquerade', Donizetti's 'The Daughter of the Regiment', and Verdi's 'Simon Boccanegra' as well as 'La Traviata'. Performances by Yusif Eyvazov and Juliana Grigorian will pull the curtain on the season.
The Arabic music line-up boasts major stars such as Majida Al Roumi, Ahlam, and Ragheb Alama, along with a celebration of Mohammed Abdel Wahab's legacy and a series of Ramadan concerts.
The audience will also enjoy many other acts such as a classical Chinese music evening, Jazz performances, and New Year’s Eve concert with baritone Erwin Schrott and many more open houses and special school performances.
