A street vendor has been detained and referred for trial at the Lower Criminal Court after he was caught trading in undersized hamour fish, the Public Prosecution has announced.
An investigation was launched following a report by the Supreme Council for Environment’s Fishing Port Directorate which stated that the Bangladeshi accused was in possession of six refrigerators containing various marine creatures whose length were less than the permitted size .
