FOREIGN Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani met in New York with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, on the sidelines of the UN Security Council’s open debate on the situation in the Middle East and the Palestinian issue.The two sides discussed the close historical relations between the two countries, and ways to enhance bilateral co-operation and advance it to broader horizons in various fields to serve common interests, within the framework of the agreements concluded between the two friendly countries .
