His Majesty King Hamad, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, received a cable of congratulations from BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa on BDF’s women’s military athletics team winning first place in the 2nd World Military Half Marathon Championship in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The female runners of BDF team won first place at the team and individual levels, thus winning the World Military Half Marathon Championship, while the men’s team got third place at the team level in the championship .
