Jeddah: Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi Minister of Defence, met with Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Yemen.
The Minister of Defence conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince to the Prime Minister of Yemen, as well as their wishes for Yemen and its people for stability and prosperity.
The Prime Minister of Yemen extended his greetings and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the latest developments in Yemeni affairs and the efforts exerted to complete and implement the road map, under the supervision of the United Nations, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
They also discussed the existing efforts to support the political process between the Yemeni parties and achieve security and stability in Yemen.
The Minister of Defence affirmed Saudi Arabia’s firm position in supporting the government of Yemen and its people in a way that meets their aspirations and contributes to the development and prosperity of Yemen.
The meeting was attended by the Saudi Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen, Mohammed bin Saeed Al Jaber, and several other officials from both sides.
