Bahrain: Acrobatic aerial displays will be performed by two world renowned acts during this year’s Bahrain Grand Prix.
Professional acrobats Les P’Tits Bras and circus act CirkVOST are among a line up of off-track entertainment at Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) during a three-day race weekend starting on April 1.
Performers of Les P’Tits Bras will swing from trapezes and leap from one end to another during breathtaking aerial acts, while 20 members of France-based CirkVOST will perform on daring and humorously devised pieces that are influenced by cirque culture and art.
Other off-track performances will include international theatre shows including globally renowned productions Japanese troupe SIRO-A and Indian company Ticket to
Bollywood.
There will be three performances a day of each production in a tent at the BIC F1 Village vending area.
Entrance will be on a first come, first served basis.
SIRO-A fuses mime, visual effects and an electro soundtrack to create a theatrical experience using dance and puppetry.
Ticket to Bollywood is a Mumbai production with fantastic costumes and joyful music, paying homage to one of the world’s greatest film
industries.
In addition, the BIC will be presenting its usual selection of family entertainment, including world famous recording artists, as well as extensive fun throughout the weekend.
Tickets for the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix are selling fast both locally and internationally with sales increasing compared to the same time last year.
All tickets are for the three-day access to the weekend which, aside from the F1, will include racing from other major international and regional championships.
Ticket holders will also be able to enjoy a pit walk on March 31, as well as access to the opening live performance of Moroccan superstar Saad Lamjarred.
The weekend’s headline act is DJ Avicii, while Swedish DJ pair Axwell Ingrosso will also take to the stage.
