Since its inauguration in 2003, Bahrain Specialist Hospital (BSH) has earned local and international recognition for its quality and high standards of care.
It was the first hospital in Bahrain to receive Joint Commission International accreditation in 2011 and has maintained this high level of quality certification since then. Recently, Bahrain Specialist Hospital was given Diamond-level accreditation by the National Health Regulatory Authority of Bahrain.
In addition, Bahrain Specialist Hospital has received certifications as a centre of excellence in various fields, such as minimally invasive gynaecology from the American Association of Gynaecology Laparoscopists (AAGL) and Surgical Review Corporation (SRC).
In 2014, it expanded its reach by opening Bahrain Specialist Hospital clinics in Riffa to provide specialist care in an outpatient setting to a wider sector of the kingdom.
Bahrain Specialist Hospital continuously seeks to improve its service offerings and hosts visiting and community doctors regularly from different specialisations such as plastic surgery, hair transplant, obesity surgery and non-invasive surgery.
