Kuwait City: A Kuwait Airways aircraft was bumped by another plane while on the runway ready for takeoff from John F Kennedy International Airport in New York.
“The plane was stationed before take-off when another jet hit it causing minor damage at the back,” said Al Rai newspaper.
The passengers were evacuated and offered accommodation at a hotel until an alternative flight is provided. No casualties were reported among the passengers.
The JFK airport management had suspended all flights due to bad weather conditions resulting from the snowstorm hitting the eastern coast of the United States.
